Ai is not art, and I can't stress it enough

Artistic Works

I had once heard, from a teacher of mine, that art is not always original, and that it is very hard to actually find art that is original. And, while I partially agree, you can never replicate the exact same image with a camera--even with Ai. Although his point was regarding the use of Ai, I still find part of his statement false. Art is much more than "throwing paint on a wall," yes, that means you, "Modern Art." Frankly, I view photography as a way to share the view of the world from someone else's perspective with others. Contrary to the many people who believe that taking out their iPhone and photographing makes them a photographer, I did start there. But, fundamentally, my passion for it was merely an introduction to the art rather than sticking to the phone and making that my art.

With that aside, this part of my website showcases my many journeys through my photography career, which all lead up to the present.
